A playboard made from recycled yarn. Year 5 children at Maryland Primary School in Newham were learning about toys from the past and worked with me to make a play landscape for small people and animals to explore. They learned basic knitting, finger knitting, pompon-making and straw weaving. Note the sheep and chicken.
Flowers in the grass. These were made with strips of card wound with yarn and secured on felted fabric.
A free mix of knitting, crochet and weaving techniques.
Me in a box. Creating an environment in a shoebox for story-telling and meditation.
