Hidden River Festival

Together with Alex McHallam, Jacqui Osley, Sue Irwin Hunt and a glorious band of spontaneous drop-in weavers, I made a river for the festival in Finsbury Park on 22nd September. We used plastic fencing and strips of cloth and fabric to create a flow of colour and texture.

We were there to support Tom Hill who is leading on a project for the North London YMCA. The Supported Lodgings Scheme aims to help young people at risk of homelessness to find temporary accommodation with families while they work out next steps. With our wicked weaving we lured in those who were interested in finding out more. You can too by visiting www.ymcahornsey.org/
